Rachel Skelly, RN, serves as Director of Quality Management at Florida Rehabilitation Hospital at Tampa, bringing extensive experience in inpatient rehabilitation, nursing leadership, quality improvement, and patient safety. She is committed to using evidence-based practices and interdisciplinary collaboration to improve patient outcomes and advance clinical excellence.
Rachel has held progressive leadership roles throughout her career, including Director of Quality and Risk Management, nurse manager, infection preventionist, and wound care coordinator. Her experience includes regulatory compliance, performance improvement, staff development, data analysis, and risk management. She has led initiatives that strengthened infection prevention, reduced hospital-acquired infections, improved patient satisfaction, and advanced wound care practices.
A Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) and Wound Care Certified (WCC) professional, Rachel earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. She is passionate about developing high-performing teams, mentoring nursing staff, and creating a culture focused on quality, collaboration, and exceptional patient care.
