Tarif “TC” Chowdhury is the Chief Executive Officer of Florida Rehabilitation Hospital at Tampa, where he leads clinical, operational, and strategic initiatives for the inpatient rehabilitation hospital. He is recognized for driving strong operational performance, improving patient outcomes, and building high-performing, engaged teams focused on quality care and growth.
Throughout his leadership career, TC has consistently delivered measurable results in volume growth, patient satisfaction, and financial performance. He led a 21-bed expansion in early 2024 and has overseen sustained improvements in admissions, discharges, and key quality metrics, including discharge outcomes and patient experience scores.
TC also brings extensive multi-site leadership experience, having provided executive oversight for multiple rehabilitation hospitals. His ability to scale best practices across facilities has supported consistent performance improvements and expanded access to care across the communities he serves.
Prior to his current role, TC held senior leadership positions across acute care and inpatient rehabilitation hospital settings, including market-level oversight of clinical operations and nursing services across multiple hospitals. His background combines clinical expertise with strong operational leadership, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and patient-centered care.
He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University.
